White Cydia app won't open: Ipod 2G Jailbreak. PLEASE HELP!!?

So so after months of debating, I finally jailbroke my Ipod touch. The jailbreak ran smooth. No problems at all. Well until ot finished at least. I jailbroke from Greenpoisi0n.com Anyway, I got the white loader screen as I should to install Cydia, and I did but now the app is just white and it wont open AT ALL. Like when I try to open it, it just pops up for like half a second and then crashes, like not even long enough to see the screen, I cant find anyway to fix it. I have read so many threats and watched several videos but the only way that seems to fix it is to use Ifile or SSg(?) or something but those have to be downloaded from CYDIA and I cant open it at all. I really dont want to restore my ipod though. Like if I rejailbreak it from Redsnow will that reinstall Cydia? I dont know that much about it. Please Help!! By the way, my Ipod is 2G version 4.1
