White Chicks

You think? Without getting into much hyperbole, it was one of the most offensively crass, unfunny wastes of a DVD rental fee I have suffered.

Still, different strokes, I guess.
 
I think my main probelm was I didn't find it remotely funny. That it was crass was a secondary issue.

Is Miami Vice that bad? I'll avoid it in that case.
 
I used to be into pro-wrestling, and I'm highly intelligent. That, however, doesn't mean that's not TV for idiots. Same applies here - White Chicks is a comedy for morons, but that doesn't mean everyone who liked it is a moron.

Some may just have terrible taste. :p

I got White Chicks for my wife, because she pestered me to get it for months. When it went down in price, I bought it for her, and watched the first half before falling asleep.

My wife is only an idiot for marrying me. Other than that, she's fairly intelligent. The fact that she wanted to watch this, and enjoyed it is only a reflection of her inability to enjoy decent, biting comedy because of the language barrier. Everyone in the world gets fart humour. It's one of the only things that neeRAB no translation.

I showed her Sideways and though she liked it, she didn't get the humour, because her English isn't good enough yet to get the subtle aspects of certain comedies.
