White bump from big pore - PLEASE HELP

Hi,

I have this small pale white very slightly raised mark/bump/blemish on my nose. I think it's from a spot I once had, which I squeezed and which left me with a big open pore, and I think it's now turned into this. and it's on my nose!

I'd really like to get rid of this, it doesn't seem too tender, i'm not really sure what it is, it's not overly visible and I probably see it more often than I should in the mirror etc out of worryness.

I went to the doctor about it and they said it was just a skin blemish, and that i'd have it forever, but to be honest, I don't really think he had a clue.

Please someone advise me, I could upload a picture if wanted.

It sounRAB like cystic acne, but i'm not really sure. If it's a cyst though, i hear that it is best to put a warm heating pad over it which apparently should make it come up to the skin and so you can get rid of it that way.
