White bag with permanent marker drawings, will they come out in the wash?

I have a white bag that my friend and I drew all over with permanent marker ( a thin sharpie, not a thick.) anyway the time has come to throw this baby in for a wash but it's a super cute bag and I don't want the drawings to run or come out? Will they?
