I have a 99 dodge stratus and it makes a whining noise while accelerating. (it sounds sort of like one of those wind up toy cars) I topped off the transmission fluid and now it slips when going from 2nd to 3rd gear. Has anyone experienced this and if so do you know what I'm in for and/or what it might be? I've already dropped way too much money into this car but it's just not in the cards to get a new one just yet... :-(
