Hello again. I've asked so many questions lately that it ain't even funny..but anyway. I installed a new amp yesterday. Its a small class D mono amp. I noticed today that I have a high pitch whine coming though my subwoofers, and only my subwoofers. I did have to buy some new RCA cables to run to my amp from my headunit..could these be the problem? They are cheap after all..only 10 bucks. I didn't notice the problem with the whining until today. I disconnected the RCA's from my amp to see if they were the problem. Even with them disconnected..the subs still emitted that annoying as hell whine. My cap and amp are grounded in separate locations. Could this be the problem?

What else might be causing? A Possible ground loop?

there are several possible answers to this question.
cheap RCA's dont have the greatest insulation in them which allow them to be more vulnerable to electrical interference.
You can try to purchase a ground loop isolator from your local shop and see if that solves your problem that would probasbily be your cheapest fix for now.
next if you have a capacitor in your trunk along with your amp(s) make sure there is adiquite space between the rca terminals and the cap itself, as the cap puts out alot of electrical signal.
next make sure you run your rcas on the opposite side of your battery cable running to your amp from your battery.
if none of these solutions work, one of your preouts on your deck might be going if its still under warranty see if you can get it replaced.

sounds like an electrical interference you could try a filter but i would make sure your rca cables are not running along you power wire since they are a cheaper rca cable they might not have the greatest insulation

buy better quality cables, and you might want to go to a lower gauge for your power. that will help. also run your power on one side say left and run your rca's and other wire on the right so there isn't any interferance between those wires. your amp could be set to high also on the gain
