While holding a number two I felt a sudden sharp pain in my lower abdomen. should I be concerned?

I had to poop, but I couldn't rush to the bathroom immediately so i held it for a minute when suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Is this something to worry about or was it just a cramp?
