...or automaticaly.? I have a 2005 Mazda 6i and a few weeks ago it wouldn't start at all. I ended up getting a new battery and the problem went away. About a week ago when pulling away from a stop sign, my car stuttered for a few seconds then started going normally. The battery light had come on but then quickly went away. Then today while driving, my car kicked right into 3rd gear after pulling away from a stop light and wouldn't leave 3rd. I switched to the manual switch and that wouldn't even switch my gears. All through that my battery light was on. When slowing down to stop, the car shifts up to 4th gear for a second then down to 1st when I stop. Cables aren't loose on the battery but i'm sure that wouldn't cause what was happening.
while driving my 2005 mazda 6, it kicks into 3rd gear and won't change gears manually...
