Which would you buy from Chrysler or GM?

I know we need to help the economy, but with today's gas prices I'd probably rather buy a Honda or a Toyota... Or buy a JEEP, and climb a mountain! JEEPS rule.

I wouldn't and I haven't.

I feel bad for American workers, who suffer because management makes sh*tty cars, but I can't afford an unreliable vehicle with poor resale value. My Japanese make is also really easy on gas.

My father buys trucks though and he always buys Fords (as far as trucks go he finds them to be the most reliable I guess).

Ok I have always been a supporter of GM. GMC has built some pretty tough cars. I would buy a Yukon, they seat enough and they can do just about anything. But Chrysler used to be made from GM. I like the 300c, it is power packed but luxurious to drive. But if you wanted another choice may I say maybe Cadillac or Buick? If your looking for a car with power, luxurious, and has a lot of buttons the Cadillac DTS is just the thing. It is powered by a North-star V8 3.5 or so, it is a beast. It gets great MPG also, like 35 residential and 26 highway (estimated). But the price is on the high side if your looking for new. Maybe even the CTS, its powered by the Corvette motor but it isn't quite as nice. But if Buick was a choice may I say the Lacrosse or the Lucerne. They are two sedans that come in a few trims. Both of them you can buy a Super or a V8 3.5. They are awesome cars. They don't cost a lot though, that's a bonus. I have owned a DTS and a Lucerne and they are very close but the DTS give the 5% better thrill just because its luxurious and fast. But you choose what you want. GM makes the best cars. I also have a saying..............
FORD-
F- Fix
O- Or
R- Repair
D- Dailey
Also Toyota and Honda make one of the worst cars imaginable. They look like s**t and they dont run worth a crap. Sure they get a butt load of MPG's but you cant do anything in them (drive in winter, drive, get girls). They are also so small that if you got in a wreck with one its better to be a pedestrian whos getting hit by a car. My grandparents were in a accident with a Honda and the car was totaled! The axil was all meshed up and just because they say they have a 5 star crash test rating doesnt mean anything, they dont tell you what they get 5 stars against! Maybe a mail box. And Hummers arent good at all either. GM is being drug down by Hummer, they are gas guzzlers and they look ugly. Don't even think of buying one of those. Good luck on your search!

GM definitely. Chrysler makes the rest of Detroit look bad. They have lousy quality in general, and their only products I'd ever consider buying are the Dodge Challenger, Dodge Viper, Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300, and Dodge Ram.
GM has been winning many awards, with Buick tying for first in quality (beating Lexus), and offer a nice lineup in my opinion. GM has hope, Chrysler lacks it.
