I enlisted into the Army last month. I'm in the DEP so if I wanted to I could get out. Anyway all of a sudden I hear all of this hype about the USMC. Now I may want to back out of the Army and go Marines. I just need some advice as which one would is really worth the risk. I must say I like the Marines more because of their discipline and the real Honor, Respect, and Courage. The Army has been slipping recently in my opinion, too many crazy people I see acting a fool even in uniform, but you never know about Marines either. However, the Army does give a better benefits from what I hear and living quarters. Which one?
Which would be a safer military choice, U.S Army infantry or Marine Infantry?
