Which Verizon phone should I get?

I am trying to decide which Verizon smartphone I want. There is no 4G in my area, and I doubt there will be for over a year. I live right in the middle of Washington State. I'm not a huge fan of Apple and was hoping to stay away from the iPhone. I was thinking that the Droid X2 would be my best bet because of it's dual core processor, since 4G doesn't even matter at the moment. Or should I get one of the 4G phones anyway?

I mainly use my phone to text, browse the web, play a few games, and use Facebook. I don't make a lot of calls.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

GO Motorola! Toughest most reliability in market. Used moto since you had to call mobile operator to even place a call. Never failed me yet. In construction biz, ya gotta have tough.

well i have had the Galaxy S for about 3 months. It is good efficient with battery, for what you are using your phone for i think that the Droid X is good. well as long as you go with a droid market you are pretty safe. the reason i say this is im a begining app developer. I have looked into both, the cost for it is much lower($100per year for apple)($25 one time fee) so with this there we will be more free apps on the market.

as for you predicament towards 4G. it isnt that much better and for your uses it doesnt sound like its needed. also when you turn your 4G on it drains your battery. so i would not go for 4G if i were you.
