Which Verizon (CDMA) smartphone actually gets good reception

Hi All, new user here, I got a Droid X last week for the fact that it would work as a wireless hotspot, but as I soon discovered, it has lousy reception and sucks as a phone, my old (and soon to be in use again) was a MOTO W755 which would literally work everywhere, including the basement at work.

The Droid X won't even work in one of the local bars I hang out in and looses calls in places I have never had a problem before, I do not want to just keep getting new phones and hope they work, thanks for any help

Did you even ask verizon to help you with the droid x problems? May be you just got a defective unit.
