Which TV is better: Sony, Panasonic or Samsung?

I'd like to buy a 37'' LCD TV. Should I buy a Sony, Panasonic or a Samsung. Which one has better audio and video compared to the price? The Sony seems to be kind of overpriced, while the other two brands have better prices. Second, should I get a Full HD, 780p or 480p? By the way, I'm sitting about 11 feet away from the TV. Thank you in advance!
