I have purchased & set up the Biorb following the enclosed instructions (including adding the sachets provided to start the growth of bacteria) but am confused about which fish to add & when.. Please help!
According to the biorb instructions I can add 1 small hardy tropical fish now to start building up the filter, then 1 each month going forward.
But in forums I have read about people with Biorbs doing/recommending the fishless cycle which my manual doesn't mention.
I also asked my local aquatic shop & they said I could add 4 neon tetras (Which other sources advise against at first) or 1 small platy.
Please help by letting me know whether I should do a fishless cycle & which fish I should add first bearing in mind I would eventually like some neon tetras & a couple of other community fish. Many thanks!
