Hello. I came over here to ask the British ladies because i know both of these stores are UK stores.
Topshop had a grand opening in New York a while ago and it was so hyped up. It was packed wall to wall for the first couple weeks. Myself and a lot of New Yorkers were very disappointed. They were selling clothes that were trendy to the point if tackiness. The clothes were the type that would fall apart after a few wears and washes. That's fine, but sell it for what its worth. They were selling H&M & Charlotte Rouse ( a crappy store here in the US) quality clothes for boutique prices. Cheaply made dresses with even worse material and they had the audacity to charge $100 or more. Ok this is New York city. Everyone is trying to make a living and everyone is trying to hustle you. Were pretty upscale and sophisticated when it comes to clothes, just like Paris, but in a New York way. You cant pass this cheap crap off to us for quality clothes. It was an insult for them to think we are so stupid.
So anyways i was online and found a store called Miss Selfridge. I like some of the clothes and was just about to order until i found out that they are the same company who owns topshop. Now i am reluctant to buy. Can you tell me what you know about the quality of clothes in that store? Any information is helpful
