I want to get into a really good university, and I get straight 'A's. I''m in a bunch of clubs, and I do community service, but here's my problem. At my high school, the tennis team isn't all that great, so last year the guy's coach said I could probably get into varsity. Since I'm a freshman, I'd be in varsity all four years. But, I also want to try gymnastics which is in the same season. The guy's gymnastics team is big, so the teams are split into fresh, soph, jv, and varsity. I'd probably advance through each each year, so by senior year I'd be in varsity. I want to know what would look better on college applications. I'm not extremely good at tennis, but I guess I'm good enough to be on varsity on a bad team. On the other hand, watching the olympics really made me want to try gymnastics, but I've always kind of wanted to. I don't mind pushing my interests aside, but I'm not sure if it matters, especially because my grades are so good now. Please help.
