which sport is better? taekwondo or kung fu?

what do you all believe is better? taekwondo has u use ur body to defend yourself, and kung fu has u use instruments...

many would say that kung fu is better because "it looks cooler" but then again..what happens when u need to defend yourself and u don't have instruments with you???
 
Kung Fu is not just weapons.

Also not all Taek Won Do or Kung Fu is sports. It all depends on the school you intend to go to. i would say check out the schools, meet the teachers and then make your decision based on what you saw.
