Which sites ban uTorrent 2.0.x?

Hi all,

I have been running uTorrent 1.8.5 for quite a while now and never had problems connecting to my trackers until recently. A lot of trackers now encourage uTorrent 2.0.x and some even disabled version 1.8.5 such as BTmusic.

I am contemplating switching to uTorrent 2.0.x and was just wondering if there are any trackers which ban this version?

staffers at bitme were extensively testing ut2.x a while back, but they approved it. I don't think its banned anywhere atmo.

I remember that when 2.0 was released some trackers blocked it due to the "uTP favoritism", but now I can't remember any site that disallows the 2.x branch.

As far as I know, P's said that 1.8.5 is allowed until a stable 2.0.1 is out; however no further announcements or updates were mentioned since then.

I ve been using 2.0.1(build 19248) since that announcement without any problems.

chdbits blocks anything before utorrent 2.0.2, which is weird, i use 1.8.5, and for them i installed vuze....

TC did block 2.0 when it was brand new. Glad this retarded ban seems to be gone now.

Would it have been easier/less resource-consuming to run uTorrent 2.0.2 just for CHDBits torrents, side-by-side with 1.8.5?

They began blocking all uTorrent versions above 1.6.1 Build 490 after the "uT is sending your info to the MPAA" drama in 2007, and haven't looked back ever since.
