ive heard many things on both. like how the army is a much larger force and has bigger and badder toys, meaning less unnecessary casualties (unnecessary casualties, not total casualties). On the other hand, the marines provide better training and therefore are better prepared. drawbacks include long deployments for the army and for the marines, i guess not having the newest and coolest toys to save your a$$ is a drawback.
quality of life does not really concern me (the marines apparently have the worst of all the branches) so that is not really a factor. but the honor of being one of the few and proud does intice me a bit. which should i choose?
and please dont tell me that the marines are badass and the army are wussies, this is kind of an important decision, which needs a lot of consideration. thanks much
