which should i buy retina or tazorac

ive used retin-a for awhile to treat cystic acne but my tube just ran out and tazoracs cheaper. would it work for cysts? which is better? thanks!
 
I tried both of them. Retin A I found dried the pimples but usually leaves a big dark scar which I hate. Tazorac on the other hand, peeled my skin sooooooooooooooooooo much for about 2wks. My skin was incredibly flaky but after 2-3wks it went back to normal. Like retin A it healed the pimple but after a 2-3 months it stopped workin.
 
cool thanks that helps me out a lot, i dont mind peeling so long as its not permanent! i have fair skin though so i guess i should start out with .05 or the lesser strength tube, eek
