I bought a number of a particular stock last weekend at its closing price from my internet broker. But then i checked my account today and it says i was down a certain amount in cash value because it was bought at the market price. But when i bought it, it clearly said I purchased it at friday's closing value. Am i at fault here, adn do i have to close the settlement at the value of monday's opening or friday's closing price which the receipt said it was bought at. I bought it last saturday.
