I have GIMP, but I don't like it. It's very specific and not as easy to select or change things as Photoshop. My school has Photoshop Elements and I hear it's very good for people who want Photoshop, but aren't professionals or don't want to pay as much.
I want to be able to edit photos and images, such as make icons and banners, change things such as hair colour, skin tone, eye colour, etc. Would I be able to do these with Photoshop Elements?
I'm far from a professional, but I was hoping to get good at Photoshop with things like tutorials and stuff like that. I like taking photography and want to edit images as well.
Which Photoshop is better for me: the proper one (CS) or Elements?
