Which phone should i buy Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Samsung Galaxy S II,...

If you have the iTouch, then the Iphone4 will be second nature to use. If you want to take a lot of great photos, the Sony phone would probably please you more, but in the list above, the other two are non-runners. Samsung don't make good quality handsets, and apart from the radio quality, the Motorola isn't anything as good as the iPhone. Just beware that the iPhone is not future proof, and it will shortly be outdated- but that's the case with any smartphone. Also, if you're accident prone, don't get the iPhone or you'll be paying for replacements every time you use it in the rain or have a liquid accident near it. All of the above will give you wifi access, but you really need a data plan to use the iPhone properly- and they are heavy users of data, often exceeding 500MB that most providers give you in a basic monthly plan. You can turn web use over the network off, but if you do that, stick with your iTouch for wifi and buy a cheap texting phone to deal with calls and texts!

Out of the ones listed it depends what features you require most...
In my personal opinion, Apple are very good but over priced for the product.. I would only recommend getting the iPhone if you use other Apple products already, such as a Mac.
I would steer towards an Android device as the applications you can get are very nearly on par with Apple Apps (soon to probably be better) and the majority are free if not cheaper than Apple apps. With Apple Apps you have to pay for the majority...
All the above handset's have WiFi access. Out of the four listed the Xperia Arc by Sony Ericsson would be my choice... It has an outstanding Camera where it can get a good shot it the pitch black due to using an high end chip found in Sony digital cameras, It has great screen clarity due to Sony incorporating their knowledge of TV's (Bravia) within the LED screen (note better than LCD). Sony have also been quite clever to push the LED screen up to the front of the exterior screen so it can still be seen easily in direct sunlight (you would normally get glare outside so you could not see the screen).
The Galaxy S II is also a pretty decent handset which runs the Android system (made by google) it has a bigger processor, which in turn means it is quicker but the camera quality will not be as good. Samsung however do have a great display but it is fine indoors but struggles in direct sunlight...
So in conclusion I would stay away from the motorolla, and apple as it is a good quality item but more of a fashion accessory... The phones I would pick would be either the Arc or Galaxy S II.

12 year old doesnt need a smartphone. get yourself a sidekick or something
