Ok, having just purchased my first laptop ever, and about to switch to Verizon Wireless, I have a question, and in my newbieness, am not even sure it'll be intelligible.
I want to have my laptop talk to my cell phone to be able to get internet access via dial-up.
I have a dial-up account. I want to call that with my cellphone and have my Laptop use it. I have a Dell 1705, it does have bluetooth, also wireless and such. Where I'm at there are no national satellite type networks or other magic stuff like that. I want plain-ol-dialup through my cell phone and have my laptop use it to get internet access.
I want to use Verizon because they carry my home phone as well and are offering some deals.
I don't really care which phone or what features it has, it just needs to be able to do the above.
