Which phone is older or new the Motorola Droid or the Motorola Devour?

I have an upgrade tomorrow, and I was really looking to get between the Droid or the Devour. Both are for Verizon and Motorola. I want to know which one came out fist so I can get the newest one. Also to tell me which one you think is better and why if you want. Thanksss!
 
The Devour is the newer one. But the Droid has a faster processor. When you slide the qwerty keyboard on the Devour it takes a little while for the screen to change. The Droid however goes much quicker. Both have touch screens and are Android based phones. The Droid, being older, still has a newer version of Android than the Devour. Both have apps and the Android market. I would overall recommend the Droid.
 
The Devour just came out so it is newer but it is a piece of crap compared to the Droid- only runs Android 1.6 versus 2.1 on the Droid, Droid has much better camera, screen, processor, pretty much everything. Except keyboard- the Droids keyboard is horrible- the Devour's is much better. But if its not that important to you, I'd definitely recommend the Droid
