Which phone is better, the Blackberry Bold 9700, the Sidekick LX 09, or the MyTouch 3G?

My birthday is coming up in July, and I will most likely be going to T-Mobile. I am currently on MetroPCS and I cannot stand it. My father said that I could go to either T-Mobile or AT&T, I'm going to tell him that I would like to go to T-Mobile. Seeing that it is cheaper then AT&T and he doesn't want to spend a lot of money on me. However, here is the problem: I don't know which phone I want! Iv'e narrowed it down to the Blackberry Bold 9700, the Sidekick LX 09, and the MyTouch 3G. I plan on mostly using my phone for texting, IMing, and occasionally surfing the web. I am aware that the MyTouch 3G is a complete "candybar" styled touchscreen phone with a virtual keyboard. So because of this, I am pretty much narrowing it down to the Blackberry and Sidekick. I know Blackberrys perform well and they are made for messaging, but so is the Sidekick. I have never played with the LX but I have played with the Blackberry for a little bit and am not too fond of the cramped keyboard. I am not too worried though, because I got used to the Samsung Propel's keyboard in no time. The biggest thing I'm worried about with the LX though is the problems. Tons of my friends were complaining about the big malfunction that happened with Sidekicks not too long ago and I heard rumors that they were going to discontinue the Sidekicks. Please tell me the pros and cons of each phone and recommend me which phone performs the best. I want a phone with a good web, and good messaging features. Please do not give me any links, and also feel free to recommend me any other phone from T-Mobile that would be good for me. Thank you ahead of time, have a good day.
