both are great phones....the best that we pffer in fact.
as a data tech, i would suggest the droid. it is open source, meaning that the apps available are insane....... there will be many apps that would helpo with school work.
but that is just me, what i would suggest is that you do a little research on the two devices, you can do a side by side on vzw.com, that way you can compare features. that will help you decide, but if you are still undecided, then take a trip down to your local store, and plan to stay there for a couple of hours....... try out both of the devices to see how they feel in your hands...... do this with out the reps buzzing in your ear, so that you can get an curate feel for both devices and how they feel in your hands.
