Which phone is better, a Motorola Q, or Motorola Rival?

I currently have a Motorola Rival, but I really don't like it that much, and I've only had it for about 7 months. I text a lot, and I only talk on the phone sometimes. And I've been thinking about switching to my moms old phone, which is the Motorola Q. So I just want to know, which phone is better?
