Hi,
I lost my Sony Ericsson T610 (T-Mobile) last week and have been on the hunt for another phone. It's been frustrating. I seem to have just missed a lot of promotions. Here's what I'm looking for, roughly in order of priority:
1 - works with iSync (Apple)
2 - under $50 after rebates
3 - good reception
4 - durable (I keep it in front jeans pocket)
5 - good vibrate mode (my default)
6 - optimally, Bluetooth but USB syncing is okay, too
7 - can set alarm as well as countdown timer
8 - would be great to get an mp3 player on the phone
9 - a decent camera would be nice, too
10 - speakerphone would be nice but not absolutely necessary
11 - ideally, it could sync street addresses, not just phone & email
I'm not likely to be messaging much, checking email or web on the phone. I also don't care about games, ringtones, or wallpaper. Likewise using it as a modem is something I might try sometime but not a priority.
Verizon would work best for me in terms of coverage, but I'm open to others. Can't do T-Mobile because I'm leaving. I'd prefer a one-year contract.
I hope I'm not asking for too much. The above requirements are more or less in order of priority.
I bought an E815 from Amazon but have had screwy shipping on it twice now and kind of want to go out tomorrow and just buy a damn phone... been without one for two weeks, and I have no land line. Then I heard that the E815 had really sketchy vibrate. I also looked at the W600i, but Cingular coverage is kind of sketchy at my brother's house...
Thanks for your help!
