Ok folks, i am just starting to paint but i am uncertain about which medium to use for it. However, oil paintings fascinates me a lot, but i learned that it takes a long time to dry, i need some medium which can dry quickly or in no time, as well as feels much like an oil painting.
I observed that pastel paintings looks a lot like oil paintings but i did get confused when i learned that there are three basic types of pastels, i need to know which type of pastel will suit me best? such that it can dry quickly, and can also finishes somewhat like oil painting? i came to know that there are oil pastels which resembles oil paints but i wonder if they dry quickly. I am very confused, help me brethren.
