Ok so I am looking into getting a dvd recorder. I want to be able to transfer my vhs tapes to dvd and also record straight dvds. My VHS player just recently stopped working also. Which would be more cost effecient. To buy a dvd recorder/vcr combo or buy the dvd reocrder and then vhs player seperate? Also if I buy them seperate where can I still buy just a VHS player?
