Which one, Yamaha FZ6 or Suzuki SV650?

So let me start by saying that I am some what of a beginner when it comes to street bikes. I used to ride dirt bikes on the weekends when I was a kid but after a bad wreck that landed me in intensive care for 5 days my mom said I no more bikes. Well that was when I was 14 and now I am 20 and I really miss being on a bike. Its been 6 years and I have never ridden a street bike before, with the exception of my friends around the block, but I really want to get on one. I have been looking at two bikes in particular that I really like. One being a Yamaha FZ6 and the other being a Suzuki SV650SF. I like both because they are fast enough to keep me entertained but not so fast that I will scare myself. I also like how both are not extremely high riding positions, I will be using the bike as a commuter to class/work on nice days and I want to be comfortable. So what do you guys/girls think.

Oh and just some extra info,
-I'm 5'7 and about135. (I know Im a little guy)
-Also I do not want a ninja 250, I sat on one and didn't like it at all, not to mention I know I will get bored quickly.
 
they are both great bikes and great companies but if you are looking for comfort get a cruiser V-twin....for one they are plenty fast in the short run but they aren't as fast top end but 2 you put a straight 2-1 pipe and tach it up you will never be unseen or heard by a car.....cruisers are way way better then sport bikes for everything but racing
