which one should I buy: Panasonic HDC-SD600K or Canon Vixia HF M300?

I want to buy an HD camera under $500 and after researching quite a bit, have it down to these two. A CNET review of the Canon can be seen here:

The Canon is $150 less, and has really good reviews. I am looking at image quality mostly.
