But if you search in job sites, asp.net guys seem to get more salaries if they have same level of years of experience. And asp.net is easier to lean compare to PHP.
I think you should start learning with PHP and after some time, you could start on asp.net.
Otherwise, if you start on ASP first and later PHP, you would think PHP is too hard to learn.
Knowing both will get you more opportunies.
