I have a list of about 15 books and i have to choose one to read and write a 3-5 page essay on.
The two i'm leaning towards are: "God Against the Gods" by Johnathan Kirsch or "Politics, Culture, and Class in the French Revolution" by Lynn Hunt.
i'd prefer to choose the shorter book, but it also has to be relatively easy to understand, so i can get this essay out of the way.
Some of the other choices are:
"The Face of Battle" by John Keegan
"Utopia" by Thomas More
"The Art of War" by Sun Tzu
