Which of these financial options makes more sense?

I cannot decide if I want to keep my current Direct TV service that I am very happy with but they just raise my rate. Or switch to Dish Network to save $18.50/ mo for 1 yr but go back to about the same cost next yr?

It makes sense to save money, but not so much when you are not saving in the long run.
I did NOT ask your opinion of Sat!!!! Don't comment if you cannot be bothered to anawer my question!!!

Sat happens to be one of the few options were I live which happens to be in the middle of nowere.
 
I had Direct TV and Dish Network, every time it rained or snowed i had checker squares across my screen. Now i have cable with triple play, computer, TV,and phone. And with the phone i can call all over the USA and it was as though i called local numbers. And i am very happy now. Then too i don't know where you live and what you can get. Good luck with your search
