Which of these bicycles is better for regular road riding?

My choices are a Magna Cliff Runner 88 Mtn Bike for $90 or 26" Schwinn Ranger Mountain Bike for $100. Both are described as "like new" condition.
 
This is like choosing from the "Lunch Specials" at the Salmonella Diner.

They're both poor excuses for bicycles. Cheap components and poor assembly.

Sorry.
 
They are both junk and not worth the money. Try to find a shop quality bike and stay away from the department store ones.
