Lincoln hangs around the White House
Jackson hangs around his Tennessee House
Nixon hangs around his California House

But I particularly like the one about Teddy Roosevelt charging the Panama Canal up the main staircase. Told my old staffer in one of the books about the major domo of the White House.

My guess would be Richard Nixon because he hasn't been dead long enough for stories to mount up. I have heard that Lincoln haunts the White House but haven't heard anything about Jackson. Though it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

Nixon.

Lincoln's ghost is well known for haunting the White House, so that rules him out. Jackson is believed to haunt the room that used to be his bedroom, which rules him out.

Americans have long enjoyed telling ghost stories. From the ghost of Abigail Adams doing her laundry in the East Room to the spirit of Dolley Madison overlooking the Rose Garden, the White House has its own legend of ghost stories that have been passed down over the years. Members of the staff, who have worked in the White House for many years, recently shared some of their stories of strange noises in the White House, sightings of President Abraham Lincoln's ghost and a Halloween prank by President Carter's daughter. It's probably A!
