While 23 does have arguably his most famous Prelude, (Op. 23 No. 5 in G minor. Its only competitor for his most famous prelude is Op 3. No. 2 which is his only known Prelude that's not in Op. 23 or Op. 32) I must say I overall prefer Op. 32. No. 8 in that opus is very underrated and one of my favorites by him.
Bonus question: Is there a better interpretor of Rachmaninoff's piano music than Alexis Weissenberg?
