An agent of some sort, CIA or FBI or similar, is imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. He is held captive in a facility on an otherwise deserted island, where he is mostly restricted to one room with a television and bed. At various times throughout the day, he is required to press his thumb onto a thumbprint reader that is either attached to the television or next to it.
He plans an escape that involves building a device to press an image of his thumbprint at the right time. He then hides in a pile of trash, which floats on a lake on the island, and gets picked up by a small airplane that hooks onto the trash in flight and carries it (and the escapee) away.
Anyone know what this movie is? It's driving me crazy not being able to remember. Thanks!
