Which Mountain bike under £1000 ? I am buying next week I am wanting your advise

and I will buy on this advise? I once a week to keep fit for 45 minutes the route is next to a river in a wood so its muddy, slippy over some tree roots and stones but my GT hardtail has done OK , I want full sus as I rode my freinds Giant Trance and it felt great . I like the smoothnes of of the full sus , I weight 13 stone so the bike being mega light seems pointless here are my choices . Pinnacle Cascade £999 Evans Cycles, Gt I drive £999 Halfords , Specialized fsr XC comp £978 & Specialized Pitch fsr comp £978 both at Specialized shop . My head tells me Specialized and this is the more likely on my scheme but I think the Pinnacle is a stunning looking bike and says its built for British riding . Please help as I am guessing at the moment and this bike will probably last me years . thanks
