I know there is no correct answer here, but I just want some opinions. I don't really mind which branch I'm in because I've just always wanted to be in the Military. So which branch should I join & why & which isn't going to fill my head with a lot of promises(lies)they can't keep just to get me to join???
A friend said I should join the Army or Army National Guard.

research each branch,
thats what im currently doing.

im in the mix of decidind which one i want to do.

Marines or Navy,
im not suree but im working on it.

but then again im a female and imnot you soo i kinda have differnt opinions on it.

It all depends what you wanna do.
Personally, I'm joining the Air Force. The quality of life is better, it's more mental than physical so if you're not much of a physical person, go Air Force...
If you're the type of person that thoroughly enjoys physical activity and likes to be pushed that way, go Army or Marines.

I'm in the Army.

Here's how I would rank the branches:
(All factors considered)
1- Coast Guard
2- Air Force
3- Navy
4- Army
5- Marine Corps (Department of the Navy)

I am a Viet Nam era vet,US Army. When I joined according to my placement scores. I had the opportunity to get the training that I wanted if an opening in the MOS and ATI schools were available.Other options were also available to me.Don't Just join the service, join to do a job that you would really like to do and would be good at.Choose a carrier that you can use as a civillian when you get out.
I became a police officer after I got out. Later I became a custom electrical assembly technician.
Research the opprotunities, talk to service represenatives but don't let them manipulate your choices.
