Which Military branch should I choose?

I'm interested in Linguistics, specifically interperatation. I am not sure of an MOS or a branch. I've already taken the ASVAB and got an 86, and go to Marine PT. I am really wanting to stay near home if that's possible for the next couple of years, and I realize Basic is going to be away from home, but would like to be within a reasonable distance afterwards in case of emergency. In other words, do any branches allow much freedom for job training location?
