Which Military Branch is best for me?

Hello, I'll just give a little background information about me...
-I'm currently 17, life scout, going on eagle.
-I've held some positions as a leader.
-Currently in DECA.
-I'm not in any sports at the moment
-I've attended National youth leadership training.
-I find myself very computer literate.(I've taught myself basic networking, and 1 scripting language, ect)

...and there are most likely a few other good points about me. But the reason I am here, is to ask the yahoo comunity what branch of the military would suit me best.

I want to basically become a better person than I am today. I have realized that takes going away from home, and preforming and doing exactly what your body tells you not to do... such as skydiving, getting up early, staying on top of things. I also want to learn a trade, whether that be aircraft mechanic, armor mechanic, vehicle pilot, anything. I also want to have some type of enjoyment of life. But possibly not as much as the air force has.

In the army I hear you're deployed most likely out of country for anywhatsoever reason the federal government wants done. I've also noted that this is the largest branch, with the most amount of stuff to do.

In the navy I hear 90% of the time you're crammed onto a boat and set to sea...Not very appealing unless someone thinks otherwise.

The only reason I'd join the marines is if I actually wanted to go into combat. I have considered it, however it does also deal with boats, and cramped areas. Along with more difficult training.

Finally I hear the air force is like 50% maintenance, 40% transportation, 10% combat. It is basically like a regular civilian lifestyle, unless you're deployed out of country.

Personally im looking for something fun, new, government oriented, and not too relaxed, but still challenging. Also I would like to go threw ROTC but I dont think I make the competitive requirements. Literally the perfect life for me would be, go to the military, retire after 20 years, work for the pentagon 'til I offically retire.
