which Mazda RX7 (model number and the year needed) is the fastest and most powerful?

i have been searching for the best RX7 version and its little bit confusing with all those versions like Type R RZ RZ-R RB etc!


Can someoen please tell me which one is the fastest and most powerful? ( full model name and the year please!)

The twin turbo's were the fastest.
Look for one with the least number of options!
The later the year, the more it weighted and therefore its speed is affected.
The problem with model this that or the other, is that none of these identifiers can tell you if it is an aluminum hood model or not. Even if the build sheet says it had one when built, it will not insure you that is what it has now.
The problem is that the more the moving parts (twin vs single turbo charged) the more things there are to break down. So a modified Turbo II, pumped up could yield more bang for the buck in the long run.
