I've been looking for a snorkel for my jeep for a little while now and I've run across to major materials, each claiming to be better than the other, : Linear Low Density Polyethylene and Fiber glass. Now, The LLDP claims to be more flexible under stress (tress, rocks, etc.) and UV tested. The concerns I've had have been with the ribbed hose that go from the end of the snorkel to the air filter box. Can anybody give me advice. Are there unseen problems with the LLDP -OR- the fiber glass, I don't want to buy and install a product and then regret the $200-$400 purchase. Thank you for your time.
