Ok, so im 16 and have been abused by my father since i was young. About a year ago things got out of hand, now I need to be able to defend myself for sure.
Im about 5' 8", 145 lbs. semi-muscular build, athletic, quick, flexible. No prior fighting experience.
He is about 5' 7" 200 lbs. Has a bit of a beer belly, I have him outclassed in all but his weight and strenth.
I think something that would use his weight and lack of balance against him would maybe work, but i am not sure due to my lack of knowledge in martial arts. So if you could tell me what style, a short description of it and what moves in it would best be used for my defense, i would appreciate that very much. Using different styles is not out of the question either, since i have 1 year to learn before the restraining order runs out. Thanks
Something that could be learned online easily would probably be better. I will learn online, but I am a quick learner so that is only preference, not necessity. Sorry for being so picky, thanks again.
