Which martial arts style is best for fighting in streets(self defense)?

People tell me ufc is a sport and people in ufc would get whooped easily.

I been thinking about jeet kune do, what bruce lee created.

is shaolin kung fu the best martical art you can learn for defense, and defending yourself ?
