Which Martial Art Should I Learn?

I am 15 and I would like to learn self defence, but I am not sure which one I would like to take up. I am 5' 5 and 97 lbs (I know I'm underweight). Even though I am skinnyand I eat a healthy diet, I never used to exercise, but I have been doing sit-ups, pushups, hand weight training and walking for the last month, and I can see some muscle on my stomach area. I am leaning towards Taekwondo, but I am open to any suggestions. I would like something that involves both the feet and the fists, and something that will really help me to defend myself. Would Taekwondo be appropriate, or should I try something else? Thank you.
I forgot to say that I would not like to take up wrestling or judo, as I would like to learn how to defend myself through my hands and feet rather than by grapples and wrestling.
