Which Linux distro has the best restr. media and multi-boot package?

Anyone have a suggestion for what Linux distro I should use? The two things I'm interested in are:

1. How easily I can get restricted media and Flash (on Firefox) to work.

2. It has to have a good GRUB installer 'cause I don't want it to screw up my MBR or make my XP / Fedora 11 partitions inaccessable. I'd also like to avoid having to RE-install Fedora just so I can get it's GRUB to work. (which I had to do back in the early days of multi-booting.)

Background: I'm not a hard-core computer geek but I can hold my own, and after a recent virus on my multi-boot XP machine I think I'm going to just migrate to Linux. I used to boot to GRUB and have a choice between 2 old Linux distros and XP. I installed Fedora Core 11 over one of the Linux partitions and I just LOVE the feel of it's KDE enviornment. Also it's installer was just WONDERFUL setting up GRUB. On the down side, I'm having some trouble with restricted media ... VLC works so-so, but I can't get Flash workin at all.

Machine info:
Athlon 64 3400+ (2.2)
1GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 512MB

I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 (Codename: Jaunty Jackalope) I am not a diehard linux person, but I am running it in a dual boot configuration. The install took under 20 minutes. I had a bit of a hassle figuring out how to connect to my wireless router, but was up an running very fast!
I have not yet attempted to work with flash but so far I am pretty impressed. It is the simplest and fasted OS install I have done since DOS!
